INFORMATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with Article 10 titled ‘Obligation to Inform the Data Controller’ of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), our company Boğaziçi Customs Consultancy Joint Stock Company (“Boğaziçi Customs”) as the data controller, has an obligation to inform data subjects about its identity, purposes of processing personal data, persons and purposes to whom personal data is transferred, legal reasons and methods for collecting personal data, and the rights of data subjects listed in Article 11 of the KVKK.

In accordance with this article, this Information Text has been prepared for the purpose of informing data subjects within the scope of Article 10 of the KVKK.

a. Identity of the Data Controller:

In accordance with Article 3/1 (ı) of the KVKK, the data controller is defined as ‘real or legal persons who determine the purposes and means of processing personal data and are responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.’ Article 10/1 (a) of the KVKK also imposes an obligation to provide information to the data subject about the identity of the data controller.

Boğaziçi Customs, within the scope of the KVKK, may have the status of ‘data controller’ due to your personal data shared with us, both on this website and through other channels. In this context, the ‘identity of the data controller’ is Boğaziçi Customs Consultancy Joint Stock Company, which has been established in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey as an anonymous company, registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office with registration number 499556, MERSIS Number 0179063813100001, with company headquarters at Fulya Mah. Prof. Dr. Bülent Tarcan Cad. No:16 Şişli/Istanbul.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5 of the KVKK, based on one or more of the personal data processing principles specified in Article 4 of the KVKK. In all personal data processing activities carried out by Boğaziçi Customs, compliance with the obligations stipulated in all relevant legislation, especially the KVKK, is ensured.

The purposes of processing your personal data, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, include the conduct of our company’s operational activities, the execution of our business relationships and human resources processes, meeting the requests of relevant individuals, conducting necessary studies by our departments to benefit you from the products and services offered by our company; customizing the products and services offered by our company according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs; ensuring the legal and commercial security of individuals in business relationships with our company; and determining and implementing the commercial and business strategies of our company. To Whom and for What Purposes Processed Personal Data Can Be Transferred:

Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Your Personal Data:

Your personal data is collected by our company Boğaziçi Customs through various channels and in compliance with the laws, including the use of this website, records you make using this website, forms you fill out in our sales stores, discussions we have over our switchboard, and contracts you enter into with our company, for the purpose of conducting our commercial activities. Learning whether personal data is processed, Requesting information if personal data has been processed, Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, both domestically and abroad, Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and notifying third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring their processing disappear, despite being processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws, and notifying third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, Objecting to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, Requesting compensation for damages in case personal data is processed unlawfully and causes damage.
